Wade R. Goria is an historian, author, a former professor of International Relations at New York University, and the principal lecturer for all NLM boat tours.

All Tours are scheduled for 3-4 hours, however, tides and currents may increase the time needed to return to dock!

Parking is Available at:

– Empire Outlets: 55b Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY 10301, entrance to parking lot off Richmond Terrace, 9-minute walk to National Lighthouse Museum

– St. George Ferry Terminal: 12 Staten Island Ferry, Staten Island, NY 10301, entrance to Ferry Terminal Munimeter Parking (free on Sundays) is off Richmond Terrace, 4-minute walk to the National Lighthouse Museum

– Along Bay St.: 2 hour metered parking (free on Sundays), 5min+ walk to the National Lighthouse Museum

Boat Tour Rules:

All boat tours will depart from 1 Bay Street, Staten Island, NY 10301, where the NYC ferry normally docks. It will not be leaving from the same terminal that the Staten Island Ferry departs from).

Check-in begins an hour before boat’s departure. Boarding begins 30 minutes before departure. Tide and currents may delay our return to the dock. Please plan accordingly.

All boat tours have a full cash bar serving spirits, beer, wine and soft drinks as well as bagged snacks. We allow passengers to bring food onboard, we just ask that you do not bring hard coolers onboard.

Please be aware that there may be boarding limitations for people with disabilities at the pier. Kindly contact us to discuss if this might be an issue for you or your guest.

Please note FareHarbor is the processor of credit card payments for the National Lighthouse Museum. A charge for FareHarbor will appear on your credit card statement, not National Lighthouse Museum.

Terms of Service:

By purchasing a ticket and/or accepting transportation aboard a vessel provided by the National Lighthouse Museum/SeaStreak, LLC (“NLM/SeaStreak”), regardless of whether the vessel is owned, operated or chartered by NLM/SeaStreak (“Vessel”). Passengers, baggage, and personal items are subject to search and inspection prior to boarding and at anytime while onboard the Vessel. Refusal to consent to a search may result in denial of passage. Customer shall arrive at the pier prior to departure and early enough to be searched and inspected. Dangerous goods and firearms are prohibited without NLM/SeaStreak’s express consent. Seats are not reserved. Scheduled times may change, Vessels may be substituted, routes may be altered and stops may be changed or omitted all without notice, all without liability to NLM/SeaStreak. No refunds or exchanges. NLM/SeaStreak reserves the right to revoke privileges granted by this ticket. Any suit or cause of action arising out of or relating to this ticket or passage aboard the Vessel may only be brought in a state or federal court in New Jersey, and Customer agrees to personal jurisdiction of either such court and waives all objections to venue therein. NLM/SeaStreak’s liability for loss or damage to personal property is limited to $1,000. NLM/SeaStreak shall not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property, or for personal injuries, illness or death, unless written notice is given to NLM/SeaStreak within six (6) months of the date of the occurrence giving rise to the same, and suits on all such claims shall be deemed untimely and dismissed unless filed within one (1) year after the date of the occurrence, injury, illness or death.
